Cavern Run 64

aka: Cavern Run
Moby ID: 69550
Commodore 64 Specs

Description

In Cavern Run 64 you move a spacecraft viewed from the side, left or right as it falls down a constantly scrolling cavern and you must avoid hitting the walls or it is game over. Before you play you can select your fuel level and this decreases, which is shown on the right of the screen, but there are fuel capsules that can be collected to increase your level. Once you crash then you are told your distance travelled before you play again to beat your last score.

A bad Caverns of Mars ripoff

The Good
I can't say that I enjoyed any of it.

The Bad
The bleak colors, the sound, the gameplay.

The Bottom Line
This game is done so much better by Caverns of Mars, that only came out for Atari 8-bit, alas. Keep it as a relic of a really early release by a UK software house.
